The Royal Irish Rangers Annual Camp 2004, Scotland.
RANGERS, commanded by Lt Col A C J McCord MBE R IRISH, attended Annual Camp, Exercise IRISH DIRK 04, at Fort George, Inverness, Scotland (1 R IRISH's location) from 27 August - 11 September 2004.
The overall aim was to develop, improve and broaden the military knowledge and capability of participating personnel. Therefore, Annual Camp was a cadre camp run in conjunction with 1 R IRISH using Fort George Ranges Inverness and training across local areas including Kinlochlevan and Ben Nevis. Fifteen personnel from the Lithuanian National Defence Voluntary Forces (KASP) participated in the training. Training cadres included a Junior Officers promotion to Captain Command Cadre, a Patrol Cadre, a Machine Gun Cadre, a Signals Cadre and a Pioneer Cadre.
